even with it, from what is being said, there's no chance of obtaining a new
free account from them anyway.

years and for standing your ground on principle alone for most of us.

One by one, the spammers have been aiming to destroy the truly free (as in
freedom for privacy) news servers that have been suggested on this group.

I don't know how Ivo manages to not require pre registration, but you've
gone the way that Paolo and Alex and others had to go, unfortunately.

I am eternally grateful to you for having stood up for your principles.

And while you'll likely only reap scorn on this newsgroup, you have the
gratitude of many others who will not reply (or even see this message).

with continuously changing names and mail addresses.

That would easily be addressed by limiting the number of distinct from
emails from a single IP within a certain time interval. Say, max five in
one day. (That would effectively kill Tor support though, and use from
public hotspots.)
