People often refer disparagingly to colored folks hair as 'kinky'. So what? I think their hair is the easiest to manage. I do not like outrageous hair styles for black people. The simple buzz cut is good for them. I wear the buzz myself and it looks good and feels even better. But with most white folks, myself included, bald or close cropped does not look as good as it does on the Negro, mostly because their face color continues up to the scalp whereas with Whites the scalp is often too white and in need of the sun. I think Blacks have good hair. But to hell with the afros and other styles. Not just for them but for Whites as well. Style sucks. Unless it's my style, then it's ok.
