so family visits with her now are the rest home

Went thru similar with my father, only i his case it was
due to a stroke and it was a mercy he passed away soon after.

yes, it's difficult. In the shape she's in she has zero quality of life.

My father was different. He lived to be 90 but he was in pretty good shape up to then. It's funny , he kept saying he wanted to live to 94 because he had an uncle that lived to be 94 , but he didn't make it.

that's odd most people aren't sketchy about that. I read that some of these Russians that claimed to be 160 years old , far older than possible , what happened was the men took over their fathers identity to avoid military service.
