I've been hitting other groups. Not a bunch, just a few. I have my own method for evading Guess Who in here. It is not perfect by any means. I can tell right away your posts from Guess Who's, but I still have to sometimes click into multiple "Boso" threads to get to them, and that can be a chore.. I still say there is a way for your logo or whatever it's called to look in some small nearly undetectable way from Guess Who's version so I don't have to search for the right guy. Retiremnet is so far perfect for me. I can brag about how hard I work while doing nothing now and drawing a check. It isn't much but it will do.

A few years back, Schlomo was hired as a doorman in a high end co-op
building. On his 2nd day a woman who looked about 80 came to the
building saying she was there to see her father. Schlomo laughed at
her and told her she wasn't at the local cemetery. Turns out her
father was 103 years old and did live there. The old broad didn't have
much of a sense of humor and had Schlomo fired. He learned the hard
way that it sucked to be unemployed even when the job sucks.

Me too. I believe I am living like a King in many ways. But then how does a King live? In constant fear of assassination, that's how. I feel sometimes like I'm working harder now that I'm not working. But I spent my whole working life wanting out and finally got there, so I am not going to complain. I do believe I was not prepared in some ways - and that's fine too - not ready to know how to deal with it to the point where sometimes I feel chained to my freedom.

Nice story, hope it was true. True stories are always the best. But I enjoy making up absurdly fake stories sometimes. Nice line - it sucks to be unemployed even when the job sucks. They all suck in their own way, don't they? You might know someone who has what you see as a cushy job. I hate that expression, the one about what not to do on the way up. First of all, anybody on the way up deserves to fall. Anybody. All of them. I hate ambitious people. I resent them and might even be jealous of them in some ways. But in most ways I know I prefer my way because my way is the best. When someone gives me that old "careful on the way up" routine, I get the impression automatically that they themselves have been on the ladder and may still be. But not everyone is that way. I want as much as the next person, I'm just not willing to pursue it. As for Dahmer, he outlived those he killed.
