did you know there was this area of land called the dogger banks, or some names similar to that off the coast of England and they had a civilization built there but it's sea level was rising and slowly encroaching on even their buildings and such, and so they had to move to mainland Europe and I've always kind of wondered like how that worked? Also, I seem to remember that there's a sect of Buddhism which insists that everyone else go to heaven before the person speaking.

I had not heard of that strip until you mentioned it here. It looks rather interesting. Where you also get that situation is in computing where two systems will deadlock each needing the services of a third system.
