We need to bring back polio. Get the march of dimes going again. Have real crippled up Presidents again. Made we are too soft.

We are too soft, no question about it. But bringing back polio is going too far. Polio is a child's disease. Anyone wanting to bring back polio is sick for sure and needs to be punished. We must protect our children, not expose them to illness and death. Time will do that on its own. Let's not hurry things. So, when someone is arrested for child abuse in its many forms, he will be charged not with "Child Abuse", but with "IWI" (impatience with infants), and sent to prison for a long time.

You bring up a good point about FDR in the wheelchair. Gives out a "He's one of us" vibe. Today with TV it would be easy for a President to take cardiac arrest during a televised speech. Medics are on the spot. Cameras move in. We see his agony. We feel it. Then, only days later he is home from the hospital, twittering and face booking away fireside chat style while videos of his agony only days earlier play on a large screen behind him.

Most people are lousy parents. I try not to criticize parenting unless it involves small animals.

It doesn't matter, pet or human child, if it's mine it's a rescue. No matter how unfairly I sometimes treat them, I know and I hope they know as well, that it could always be worse.

I realize I was born through a mother. Still, I have no great regard for parents. I do sometimes marvel at how they are able to handle the noise. You know, that pre-school shriek (Mexicans are the worst)........... Maybe what we need is a society where everyone is either a birther or a raiser. It would be unfair for those who gave birth to also raise the child as they might do so in a prejudicial way, treating the kid special just because he came from them. So, in the new and improved society, children are relinquished at birth to well organized healthy well monitored hub where they are held until a suitable 'raiser' buys one. They too will be monitored. No abuse. No bullying. No raising of political puppets. They can steer their children in any direction, but force is not allowed. In this new society every child is a 'rescue' - rescued not only from potential abandonment from its mother, but from the mother itself. Too many idiots coming from 'normal' families, it seems. Time to farm all kids out to properly vetted 'raisers'. This is true dedication - genuine rescue. Any parent can raise their kid with love, but they also might spoil them with TML (too much love). Thus farming them out is best for society overall.

I think the majority of idiots come from functional families, at least on the surface. Most self thinking people I've met come from split homes or institutions other than public school. But of course there are exceptions to all rules. And as always, no matter how strongly I may believe something, it doesn't mean I want to be in charge. I know I can be wrong. Then, gaining control of your target once again, lay that lecture in hard mean long and heavy. I want a scenario to unfold where I a major public supporter of a certain way of life - invited on countless talk shows to air my views and building up quite a follower in the process. A very loyal following. At first they are against me. They do not understand me. But I keep at it. I don't give up. Finally they are able to see where I'm coming from and to understand it fully. They want me to be President of Earth. But I turn down their offer with the following speech. "I am sorry but while I believe strongly in my own personal views I do not want to be in a position of forcing them on other people, because if they don't work I will have to take the blame. Plus I don't want to make a bad decision that could destroy our precious society. Please forgive me, and thank you for your support." But then they turn on me, rush the stage and carry me off to a big pot of hot bubbling metal, bronze maybe, and dip me into it, still alive, kicking and screaming before falling into death like those monks who lit themselves on fire in Vietnam - dipped in bronze and carried dead and stiff to a nearby park where I am erected as a statue with a plaque below reading, "Traitor, 2021."

you? This would be the adventure of a life-time. I can play the role of
Pattie Hearst. If that's too much for the public to swallow, I can take
on Bonnie Parker. Either way I can machine gun lots of innocent people,
and then get a movie contract immediately afterwards. Please, whoever
