through the past 24 hours or so.

Only one I saw today was from rbowman at 7:28

Since 1:30PM there ere 3 from cshenk and another from skid and Frank.
That's it.

Maybe we could pay some people to post, get some posters from India, or
get some illegal aliens to do it in return for amnesty?

The correct terminology is "newcomers".

Nah, they're feral illegal invaders.

They ignored US immigration law and broke into the US.
I suspect they'll ignore America's "No Trespassing" signs and break into our homes too.

Undocumented posters and micky inviting them in rather than remain in India.

Just off the top of my head, the current British prime minister, Rishi
Sunak, is first-generation Briton of Hindu descent. Rikki Haley and
Vivek Ramaswamy are also first-generation Americans of Hindu descent.
Trump is second-generation American of German descent. You wouldn't have
Trump today if his grandparents were told to remain in Germany.
Americans like you would still be ploughing the fields and eating groats
& grits today if the Jewish money-changer and usurer immigrants were
told to remain in Germany and Poland.

Did not see them, or any on another group that would usually have 100 a
day. I just saw mine and yours now.

I don't know what that means. Very strange. I was thinking that maybe
they sort so high up that you didn't notice them but I'm sorted now
based on the date of the first post in a thread, oldest first, and the
thread 3 of those posts are in is badgolferman's Statistics thread**.
Although that was posted on Friday***, it's still the thread that
immediately precedes this one.

***But cshenk posted once in it, and skid and bowman posted in it all on
Saturday afternoon.

You're right. Modern economies won't work if people can't borrow money
to start or grow businesses. Although in the USA most bankers are not
Jews.

Also you should let people know that what was called usury then was
substantially less than the interest rate that credit cards and other
lenders charge in the USA today and for the last 50 or 100 years or
more. Yet somehow the word usury is no longer used for them. Jews were
lenders in Europe because Christians were not allowed by the church to
lend money.

As to money changers, I give you credit for calling them money
*changers*. I have seen them referred to as money lenders. (I assume
you are talking about Temple times in Jerusalem. Money changers were
not a controversy in Europe.)

The reason there were money changers adjacent to the Temple in Jerusalem
is that people came to offer sacrifices, especially on the holiday of
Pesach (Passover). Poor people could offer flour as a sacrifice, but if
they had enough money to offer a lamb or kid, that was preferable, and
most people had enough. But animal sacrifices had to be perfect,
without scars, wounds (healed or not) or injuries, and many pilgrims
came from far away. Besides the basic difficulty of driving an animal
for a long distance, it was impossible to do so without it injuring
itself or scratching itself on thorns, so people would bring money and
buy an animal there, a kid or a lamb, at the market, also adjacent to
the Temple. Those who came from foreign lands brought foreign money and
the foreign money had to be exchanged for local money, so they could buy
the animal.

Some sacrifices were totally burnt, but in terms of number of animals,
the vast majority were offered on Pesach, roasted by the priests using
the fire on the altar, and then eaten by those who brought them. Quite
a few people from one or more families would get together and offer one
animal.

I disagree with your interpretation of the role of "money changers" who
were chased away by Jesus while prying their trade in the temple.

"Money changers" in modern times are the "currency exchange" booths at
international airports. The German Jewish banking dynasty, the
Rothschild family, was the well known family of money changers. Mayer
Rothschild sent his 5 sons to London, Paris, Frankfurt, Vienna, and
Naples to establish banking businesses, so that merchants could deposit
money at Rothschild's London office, for example,  and retrieve their
money at the destination country in local currency without worrying
about being waylaid along the way for carrying a large amount of cash.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rothschild_family

The role of the money changers in Jesus' time served the same purpose as
"currency exchange", because there were a lot of regional currencies, so
that currencies from afar had to be changed into the local currency for
trade.

When my grandparents came in they were wanted as workers were needed.
They came in through Ellis Island and could not have a criminal record
or be sick and unable to work. If so they were put back on the ship to
return. There was no welfare for these immigrants and any help was from
charity or other immigrants.

Today we have them coming in unvetted and even sneaking in and allowed
to stay. Then they get a free phone to tell them when a judge will
review their case which it could take five years if they even show up
which most don't. They get immediate welfare, housing food and even
spending money.

Apparently there is a hidden agenda that you are not privy to. I am
guessing that the US wants to increase its population urgently, i.e. to
expand the labour force and consumer base in order to compete with
China. The powers that be cannot count on the local fat arses who drink
beer, watch sports, and upload twerking videos to TikTok all day instead
of multiply and increase in numbers like God had intended.

Seems better but older posts are gone. I'm guessing it was a blocknews

Actually, maybe I missed it in the stats? I didn't see me in them but
I did see xananews hit 9 posts? Maybe you have to post 10 or more to
show? That or the person running the archive of posters put me in the
'bozo bin' because they think any ;new poster has to be a troll'.

I'm actually a returning poster. Active here about 2007 until probably
2011 or so. cshenk@techemail.com or cshenk1@cox.net likely then.

The problem Christ had with the moneychangers was they were dishonest
- taking advantage and making huge profits inside the temple.

Not like black market money changers in many countries that will buy
your AmeriBucks or EuroBucks for double the going bank rate because it
is illegal for them to have AmeroBucks or EuroBucks and it is not only
illegal to take the local currency out ofthe country, but the local
currency is useless anywhere else in the world -

Trump tried to close the border and he was stopped by a court
injunction. Biden cannot do it either, without legislation.

And of course trump doesn't want the legislation, even though
Republicans helped write it, it favors their positions, and theyll never
get a better law from their pov. But trump wants it to be a big issue
in November, so he'd sacrifice a good law just help himself get elected.

We don't have to go into that anymore. I only talked about it because I
thought you had already referred to it.

It sounds like a very good idea. I had never heard of this aspect of
their bank before you included it here.

FWIW, I found my own method which might work in select locations. Years
ago I was visiting a friend in Geneva and I borrowed her car while she
was at work and drove a mile or two into France and came across a
gambling casino, (Maybe close to Switzerland because Sw. doesn't have
legal gambling? No, they have at least 8 now just in or near Geneva.)

AFAICT, you could buy chips with your own form of money, like Swiss
francs, and then redeem them later for French francs and maybe other
kinds of money too. I hope they give the same rate for a given currency
in both directions, since they they're making money on the gambling. But
I didn't try it so I'm not sure.

Yes.

It makes sense that the exchange rates will be different in changing
from one currency to another currency and then back, otherwise you can
stand there all day and keep exchanging between the two currencies 1,000
times and they'd be wasting time to deal with your folly. The money
changers (currency exchange) have to make money. They will take a cut in
every transaction. That means if you keep exchanging between two
different currency back-and-forth, eventually you will end up with no money.
