System which is a necessary part of daily life but became far too powerful a monopoly and actually

It's wrong about Sweden. Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia are not heavily
socialist. What they have is high social welfare spending. That is not
socialism. The Scandinavian countries have predominantly private enterprise
economies. There is more state ownership in some specific areas than there is in
the U.S. or in some other European countries, but Scandinavia has primarily
private enterprise economies.

Social welfare spending is not socialism. This is settled.

Whether it works or not, the effort to make it work is just as damaging. Trump
had little chance of success in his 2021 attempt to *steal* an unearned second
term, and in fact he failed, but the damage from the effort was huge.

I've read that book and while I do agree that Trump may very well be the ultimate slef worshiping
narcissist, he is an extremely shrewd businessman.
He makes a solid point of using other people's money to finance his projects.

Trump's major problem in 2016 is that DC, despite what people, including myself at the time, think,
running the government is nothing like running a large scale corporation.
So electing a shrewd, successful businessman like Trump, or Steve Forbes, or Ross Perot may sound
like a good idea, it just might not be.
