It's hard to explain, but while I found it scary the way people flocked to the mask from the start, it is scarier how fast they removed them as soon as the official word came down from on high. Incredible. I will continue to wear one in public places even if I don't have to. I have always had little faith that they work to begin with. But my secret desire is to continue wearing the mask and watching as countless people drop dead in a mass mutant virus vengeance attack against our vaccine. If the mask works as they claim they should be worn in public all the time (if you want to).

I go to 3 ghetto style convenience stores downtown. They are decent places.. One of them is run by a Chink. He stands behind a plastic window, same as cashiers in other stores. But that is not enough. I noticed today he is also wearing the plastic face guard. He is taking few chances. But he is dealing with money. His fingers touch the cash only to later dig into his Asian nose for large crusty chunks of snot, the removal of which only serve to further open his nose to accept the virus contamination from his index finger. I will be glad when the virus leaves so I can get back to normal.. Back to hugging my friends, going to funerals, attending church gatherings, music concerts, the whole bit. This virus really fucked with my social life, man.

Remember that world map COVID chart I told you about with the US and Europe showing the densest infestations? Now India is top dog. Maybe it's working it's way back to China. We don't know, but it's certainly possible this was some kind of germ warfare attack. Low scale, could always be worse. It could be something that escaped from a lab. One of ours even. I find it interesting how the US and Europe were leading the world with covid cases and now it seems to be working its way back to where it may have started. People complain about the mask. Can't say I blame them. But they haven't seen anything yet. Soon the days of the gas mask will be upon us.

LOL. A good tee shirt. On the front: "I Hear Your Cries." On the back: "But I Do Not Feel Your Pain." It can go either way but I prefer the positive message on the front of the shirt. I have studied people. Whatever grabs their attention from the front will always get them to turn around. The punch line is usually on the back. The material is endless. Good line though.

I was so happy that Hillary was not made president. I have mostly voted against a candidate and not for one.

I hate the female vice president even more. They remind me of each other with the same style polyester looking suits they wear. Real garbage. I have always found it incredible that anyone would vote for any of these people.. But I understand how it happens. The people don't decide the candidates, not really. So no matter what emerges victorious from the slate it's going to be a version of what would be there even if someone else had won. Last night I turned on the TV and it direct to channel #1, Spectrum News, and it was there I learned it was the anniversary of the death of George Floyd.. Man does time ever fly. Hard to believe - and it's still in the news every day. He had a son. Maybe one day he will run for President. Unless he is gunned down first. Anyway, about the news report, man it was sickening - all the top politicians, even the President stood with their fists in their air chanting, "Say his name", over and over again. Absolutely incredible and yet not so hard to believe apparently.

I never got deep into following the news of the day and I'm glad. But I've seen my share without even trying. I have never seen gutlessness of this magnitude on the highest level before. I'll take what they give me - stimulus checks, the monthly check I'm getting now - great stuff, we're lucky to have social security and I'm grateful. But other than that I don't care if they're all assassinated tomorrow. Shot down with their fists in the air.. Shot down fighting for freedom and social justice. They will get a statues in George Floyd Square which in 50 years will be renamed "Statue City."

No exaggeration, I don't think I've seen a flag at full staff in years. It's not there's flags all over the place, but the few I pass routinely are always down. So yesterday I read in the papers the Governor or the President ordered flags flown at half staff for something - maybe the Governor with that killing in San Jose - and the first thing I thought of was "How do you lower something that's already lowered?" Incrementally. It's like when the football is on the 1 yard line and the defense gets penalized "half the distance to the goal line." The penalties can never result in a touchdown for the offense. The lowered flag is similar. With each new tragedy the flag is lowered incrementally, fractions of inches each time, so no matter how many tragedies take place the flag will never touch the ground. Also, pardon my ego, but I predicted when the flag lowering shit first started that one day it would be at half staff more than all the way up - and that time has obviously arrived.
