Dodger fans will say he didn't beat the throw, but when it came right
down to it, Buster hit the bag and Will was just reaching back with
the heel of his foot to touch the bag after Turner pulled him off.

Will Smith the catcher at first you ask? Not sure why Roberts put him
there, but Turner might have had Buster if a regular 1st baseman had
been there to strretch for the ball.

Earliier in the game, old, slow Buster legged it from 2nd to home for
the tying run. Earlier in the week, Buster took off from first and
didn't stop until he crossed home plate for another run.

DeSclafani pitched a heck of a good game and aside from Leone and
McGee, the bullpen kept the Giants in the game. Garcia gets the win.

When you look at the box scores, the Dodger list goes quite a bit
further down the page. Roberts didn't have any pitchers left and no
batters. The Giants still had a good part of their bullpen and no
available batters, with Kapler thiinking he'd have to use Logan Webb
in the field.
