Not sure what "chad" means. Afaik gentoo is known for flexibility, because all binaries are built according to your specs and hardware. Should also have a positive implication for safety. But I have never used it myself.

I used gentoo for a short time and it was nice, and if I remember correctly has some similarities to arch linux.

gentoo for a while was producing a dist for bsd, but I think that's been discontinued.

I'm lazy so I use debian, which I like.

I'm lazy so I use debian, which I like.

I think my next step would be arch. There are some small points that annoy me with debian, but the advantages still outweigh them for me, so not sure if next step will ever happen.
With arch I like the concept of a rolling release vs the versioning of debian.

No, it worked nicely. I just didn't want to put the effort into finding/compiling everything as it wasn't important to me at the time. So, lazy lol :)
