I've been sending NoCeM messages to news.lists.filters for a few days now for removing the recent spam, and some may have noticed two posts per 15 minutes instead of one now.

The reason is that I receive articles from peers using two different servers, and have only been providing NoCeM from one server. This server does not check articles from my other server, so articles that may have been blocked by one server will not show in the logs or be blocked by the other.

This leads to the NoCeM messages lacking some of the messages to identify.

I'm currently just sending NoCeM from both servers now, but that will cause some duplication (NoCeM from one server may list articles listed from other server). I am working on that now, and should be sending just one per 15 minutes soon that lists non-duplicate articles from both servers.

This is not difficult, but I want to test it as best I can before making the change.

I think I have it now. Just tweaking to make sure the number of articles listed ($count) is correct. Should be on the next run.

Once that's done, we have just one NoCeM message that covers both incoming servers, ruling out duplicate listings (wasted processing time).

Looks good. The difference between what I was sending from one server and what I'm sending now, which now = combine both servers and filter for unique messages:

i2pn: 317
novabbs: 325
unique: 338

I was previously only sending novabbs. Then, sending both novabbs and i2pn, which is where we had the duplication. Now, sending only unique, and only one NoCeM per 15 minutes.
