I find it frustrating when I receive an error message, and it takes a lot of work to find the source of the message.

For example, "Could not connect", or "timed out" is great, but when you're testing servers and proxies and web servers and forums and other things all at once, which one produced the error? Sure, In can find it, but it can be quite a bit of work.

Much nicer when a program signs it's error messages.

I believe you talk about your browsers error messages ?
Why don't you read your proxies logs ?
Or just capture the whole tcp/ip traffic with a good tool (I think Kali Linux is your best friend here).

Happy debugging.

I do but it would be nice to have a hint in the error message. I usually tail - f logs but I like to complain :)
