Chinese in general accept a cyclical view of history. Officials warned about
亡國亡黨 （the death of the country and the death of the party) because of
corruption all the time. But a lot more during the end of Hu's leadership.
Less such talk with Xi which has evidently worked hard to clean up Chinese
officialdom.

Trump is a sly person with a ulterior motive to twist and turn and skirt around whenever his chance comes to change course of his verbal attacks. Freedom of speech destroys Americans by political people like him. This is because his words can move them.
