Nothing as deeply Freudian as the bullet in John's brain. Again, I love the matter of fact way these tidbits are shared - not as suspicions or possibilities but as out and out facts. A good approach. The equivalent to a horror movie where all sorts of weird unbelievable paranormal stuff starts happening, like people rising from their graves, but no explanation is given - it might get in the way of the entertainment. Who cares why man? Just bring on the zombies and let's roll. Same as your facts. No need to mention a source. No need to back up your statements even if challenged. The "just the facts ma'am" approach is best, even if the facts are not true.
