Did you know that there was a time when “Made in Germany” and “Made in Japan” also meant crap quality? When a country is in the early stages of industrialization, it does not produce the highest quality products.

Since the early 2000s, China has been producing very good quality products. Apple and Tesla products are the highest profile examples.

How many videos of collapsed buildings have you seen? A dozen?

In the last 20 years, China has constructed millions of buildings. The failure rate is probably something like 0.001%. Can America or Canada or Britain do better than that?

Every kind of manufacturing has a failure rate. If you do better than 0.1%, you’re doing pretty damn good.
