Pretty much nothing if it’s true.

But if you start lying and or are racist then you may get asked to leave.

Some examples:

SerpentZA. Background - He was an ILLEGAL working in China and pretty much posted 3 years of constantly shitting on China. Nothing happened to him until he started calling for the government to be overthrown. He was then simply refused a TOURIST visa renewal. Yes he’d been visa running in and out of China for YEARS as an ILLEGAL immigrant.

Emily O’Dell

She was invited to teach in China. She refused to abide by Covid restrictions. She then:

Claimed she was being kidnapped.
Called for Chinese in America to be rounded up and kicked out.
Made calls for extermination of Chinese and called us vermin
Her visa was cancelled and she was given 3 days to leave China.

Swiss guy who had a scholarship in China

He claims he was deported for NOTHING. He had a year of negative comments on China while he was living in China. He then started posting full blown racism. I posted this before. He claimed he did NOTHING but Chinese webusers had screen shot 100s of racist pictures and memes.

The Swiss University cancelled his scholarship. China cancelled his visa and he was given a week to leave

Swiss Phd student posts he was expelled for NOTHING in China.

A day later story changes

Swiss Phd student on a full scholarship expelled for being critical of the CPC.

A day later… story changes again

Swiss Phd student on a full scholarship in China posts racist stuff. Gets expelled!

As per usual with these westerners they ALWAYS MISS OUT SOMETHING HUGE AND IMPORTANT IN THEIR STORY SO IT MAKES THEM LOOK COMPLETELY INNOCENT

USA BLANKET bans Chinese students because might be CCP.

But but China bad!

Perhaps the best case was a reddit user called jailedinchina he claims he was imprisoned for 10 months for shoving a cop. He said body cam footage showed nothing. Body camera footage came out of him lunging at the cop with a knife.

He was imprisoned for 10 months and taken to an airport on release.

So it’s tolerated for a LONG time then you get asked to leave.
