Both wars?

You do know that the USA was selling arms to both sides in WW1 then, after seeing which way the war was going, turned with just 3, yes THREE months to the end.

Even then the troops had strict orders not to aid and assist the other countries.

In WW2 the USA turned up 18 months late and almost never came down on the allies side of things. There were Nazi sympathisers both inside the government and supporting the government, for example, Lindbergh was a great supporter of nazi Germany.
