You can have a Bible in China. You can read the Bible and believe anything you want.

The two things that will get you in trouble are:

If you start organizing people to read Bibles, then the government will get very nervous. The Chinese constitution allows freedom of religious belief (i.e. you have the right to believe what you want) but not freedom of religious organization (i.e. you do not have a right to organize a church)
The Communist Party is officially atheist, and if you are deeply religious, you cannot get any significant government job.
