What would it take to win a war against China?
Most people think that to win a war is to have a strong military so as to bomb the crap out of the enemy and shoot to kill as many as you possibly could but that’s so mainstream. I would say that’s only partly correct. History has it that looting, plundering and tribal wars had achieved nothing much but temporary benefits. China has a very strong defense force, anyone seeking to attack her will have to think several times before embarking on such foolishness. They have counter attack measures too.

With all that said and done, let’s get back to the question proper.

If you were to look at China a few decades ago, she could have easily been invaded and conquered like what the Japanese did. To win a war against China after they had acquired the ability to produce a nuclear bomb was a little more complicated. But now, with an assortment of missiles, ships and fighter jets, that ambition of winning a war against China has become even more remote.

A few decades back, China was incapable of winning any wars per se taking into consideration the weaponry available to them. In return, China took a balance view of their predicaments; their dire economic situation, poverty, their level of education, their military strength and their ideological deficiencies and consolidated. They finally came up with a long term plan. The first major war they fought was against their poverty concurrently with illiteracy, inefficiency, infrastructure and finally with corruption.

The multi pronged attack may seem formidable and their citizens knew that there was no easy way out. Therefore perseverance and hard work was the order of the day. I truly admire their determination to correct all those deterrence that were plaguing them.

When their plan started to bear fruition, they are now considered a threat & an enemy of the world. Are they really a threat or an enemy just because they have improved themselves significantly in virtually every form of modernisation? Guess who are those that considered them a threat and a menace, why? The answer is undoubtedly the west and their fear of economic usurpation. The threat that they perceived is that China is rocking their global prominence.

China has been bullied along with a host of countries exceeding in numbers over a hundred of them. China’s idea of retaliation is not winning a war as perceived like this question posted above but a “war” that eliminates the possibilities of further wars. Even the two world wars that were fought had achieved nothing. But take a good look at both the culprits of those wars, namely Germany and Japan, when by diverting their energy to production and technology has made them giants in their own rights with a backdrop of peace.

Although significant in contribution to the global society but yet incomparable with the collective productivity of the west collectively, it’s not considered a threat but a contributor as they can be controlled. But here comes China, bigger in population than the entire western population put together, working and thinking as a unit, the possibility of them over-running the west becomes imminent and that makes China a threat.

So you wish to know what it takes to win a war with China so as to reduce her to a rubble and since she’s such a formidable opponent, you wish to know how that can be done? Let me tell you how.

After WW2, while most parts of the world were nursing their wounds, the US was the only economic powerhouse left unscathed, essentially with no economic competitor. I must say they did work hard, motivated greatly by profits. China has now done the same but without a world war.

Do as what China is doing. Work hard, stop squabbling with each other, maintain work ethics that improves productivity so as to reduce cost and thus increases profitability due economy of scale. With that, if the west could overcome those hurdles will bring China to its knees and this shall be the “war” that should be fought with China if ever they harbour the ambition to beat them, but not until then.

That’s what it’ll take to win a war with China. Until then, best of luck with your “war” against China.
