"Joe Biden's sliding poll numbers and "cognitive decline" is such that even the Democrats want him to step down, according to Republican strategist John Jordan.

Mr Jordan said the Democrats are looking for other options to replace President Biden around the mid-terms.

"His polling is now worse than Jimmy Carter's," Mr Jordan told Sky News Australia.

"His numbers have no way to go but down now – the Democrats are looking for other options and he's being pressured to leave office and I expect it will happen either immediately before or immediately after the midterms.""
