They have just signed the agreement. No schools have been built yet. But China’s commitment is to build 1000 schools in 2 years. Now that the agreement has been signed, work will start soon.

Iraq would pay for the project using oil products.

A second phase will see the construction of an additional 3,000 schools, with 4,000 more to be built in a final phase.

That’s the gist of the announcement.

Thks for sharing, Ridzwan. Agree & endorse your detail answer. Any positive news about China, western mainstream media will not report. Western mainstream media tend to report negative news on China & amplify & twisted some fact to misinform public. China build infrastructure for other countries - being labeled as “debt trap”. US sell arms to other countries - upholding democracy & human right. These are what western media wants to project/propagate.
