During the Cold War, the US benefited from the Sino-Soviet split to draw China closer to the US and away from the USSR. If the US and China do become rivals in the future, might there be a Sino-Russian split to draw Russia closer to the US?
Russia and China have absolutely no reason to ever trust the USA. America's actions regarding Xinjiang, Hong Kong,. Tibet, Taiwan, the South China sea, and got Russia the Ukraine the Black Sea, and NATOs continued expansion into the east.

President Putin and President Jinping have both elaborated over the strength of their political relationship, military partnership, and long held friendships as country leaders, stating clearly that they will support each other into battle against the West. They identified 14 countries who support Taiwan, while 181 countries support China, America can not break this bond.

Bloomberg published a report from McKinsey and Co announcing that China is officially the wealthiest country in the world some $30 trillion dollars more than the US.

China is aiming for self sufficiency, Russia is doing the same with all future sales using their own digital currency for military sales in Russia and BRI repayments in digital RMB.

I think Putin might have finally convinced Xi Jinping to dump all China's foreign US debt as well… Russia dumped there's some time back…China has just over a 1.1 trillion dollars so not a lot in the big scheme of things…but not a small amount either…whose going to want it given the state of it… Britain has been working on it's own digital currency, such is the sign of the times with modern technology.
