Does Taiwan fight "red partisans"?

US had little problem with hostile military takeover of Iraq and
Afghanistan. *Long* occupation had been quite another "too costly"
(unprofitable) story. Are you ready for 20 year (non nuke) war with US
like Taliban?

Do not mistake uncovered limits of US military might for *simple* weakness.
PRC military might has got its limits too.

What percentage of Taiwanese will fight red partisans under what circumstances to what degree?

If you meant to say US would had little problem snatched away Taiwan
from PRC's, why doesn't the US simply revoke the One China principle
and recognize ROC as an independent nation. The most straight forward
approach, no?

What percentage of PRC citizens will fight partisans under what
circumstances to what degree?

Any idiot chief can *start* a war. Spirals of escalation are easy to start.

As I wrote in another thread: IMHO It makes sense for US only as public
declaration of crossing point of no (easy) return in relations with PRC.
I don't expect it anytime soon. It is likely in *LONG* perspective IMHO.

Why 30 years LONG?
The way I see it, US political crisis will come to a head soon. Trump and
his supporters are leading a revolution. It will be a different America after
the political crisis.
