Follow up:

I went with a 40 W equiv USA assembled bulb.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BJKTN37

Sylvania gets top rating for 60/120 Hz flicker.

More expensive than Amazon basics, but free
shipping.

And their voltage range is 120v plus minus 10%,
so they work perfectly with my 110 to 113 VAC
line voltage, unlike my previous Phillips Eye
Care bulbs that were fancy night lights at that
voltage.

They are also as bright as other 60W equiv bulbs
I have tried.

Using a magnifying glass to project an image
onto my table of the new lights shows them to
be uniformly frosted too. Not pin point sources
like my old Cree lamps.

Thank you all for the tips and feedback.
