My favourite crossword moment of the year is when I print out AZED's Christmas competition. I have just done that. My wife rolled her eyes at my excitement and my daughter looked vaguely concerned about my sanity.

Here it is. I encourage you to try it and to submit a clue as indicated in the preamble. Look at the rules to see how overseas entrants can email their clue and completed puzzle (the latter as an attachment (I use my digital camera)).
