The last 10 or 15 years rust has been a klot kess of a problem on
North Amserican cars too - a lot of galvanized metal and better paint
and primer solutions - but with road salt ANYTHING can rust. See a lot
of rusdty B-M and BMW cars as well as VW - maybe not QUITE as bad as
GM. Mazda has had a serious rist situation at least up until the last
few years, among with Mitsubishi.The fact that M-B and BMW tend to
rust a little less is LIKELY due to their owners taking better care of
them
