In other words, "I shall never return." Bozo and Ras seem to have differences, but they have one thing in common - they want to make things tough on other people in this group. I have seen this tactic used before and I'm sure it could be worse. If either of the two demonic obsessed assholes really wanted to they could overwhelm this group to an even greater degree. The only thing holding them back is laziness or lack of some automated way to do it. It's a real pain the ass, but I go in and mark their posts as already read, which can't be done all at one time, they must be marked individually. One day they'll get tired of it - maybe. In the meantime I find ways around it. I will no longer respond to either one of them no matter how magnetic or different the post might appear. Is it possible you wanted to take a sabbatical or even leave the group forever, but are now using Bozo and Ras as your excuse? Why announce a sabbatical? Polite perhaps, but of little use. Are you going to lurk from time to time to see if the situation has changed? Or do you have some kind of automated program on your device that sounds an alarm if 3 days without a Bozo?Ras exchange takes place? As the horn blares the page lights up and the message flashes repeatedly on your screen: "Bozo and Ras - gone from alt.life.sucks. Repeat: Bozo and Ras - gone from alt.life.sucks."

"That's not true. I'm not tough, just curious about mental illness. I just wanted to post historical links that are worth reading about a person who won't take his meds but the links have been unfortunately disabled becasue the owner who posted them is not as crazy and obsessed as we are about maintaining them. As much as you want to believe that I hate Ras, I really don't and would like to get to know him better but he won't cooperate and take his meds — at least that's what I think."
