I saw that article before I saw your post, yesterday, read it twice, and
they didnt seem to reach a conclusion to their opening question, "Did
Trump Echo Hitler with Remark About Migrants, 'Poisoning the Blood of
Our Country'?" Every other snopes article I've read says yes, no,
partly yes, something like that.

I thought that was strange.

Are they leaving it up to us? I think it's clear. Of course it's clear.
Did he know he was echoing hitler? He doesn't read much but whoever
helped him knew it, or got it from "neo" nazis.

I smell a propaganda narrative.
And since when do wokies, who believe 95% of what
real, actual Nazis believed, even care:
social justice warriors, Marxists, Socialists,
conformists, anti free speech, anti religious,
war mongers, intolerant of others who do not
conform, and on and on and so forth.
If the glove fits ...
Oh and blame the other guy for what you do.

Oh yeah. Even if things don't get worse, the US will never fully live
this down.

I wonder if any of these books and quotes exist in our libraries? If
so, do the "Wokies" accept that fact or do they want to remove them? Or
is it only a problem when Trump has them?

I constantly go to the wokies' fellow travelers web site (cpusa.org) to
see what the wokies are up to this week.
Does not make me a communist, just open minded.
And as far as the Trump and Mein Kampf thing, his bed
stand? His extremely loyal ex-wives who said he'd make
a great president?
This is obviously a Propaganda Narrative. Trump is
the opposite of a dictator and certainly is not a
social justice warriors conformist Marxist wanting to take
control of all industry and industry profits
distribution (actual Nazi believes). And Trump,
who was the only one to give business loans
to Black businessmen, is clearly not a racists and
with Jews in his family and adored by Israelis,
is clearly not anti-Semitic.
The woke lie their asses off about Trump. End
justifies the means.

Ann Arbor District Library. Just about as woke as you're likely
to find.

They have Mein Kampf. I wasn't about to do a diligent search for
everything authored by Adolph Hitler.

We accept the fact.

We'd have less trouble with Trump having a copy if we could be confident
he were using it as a "what _not_ to do" guide.

A small libary can't have everything. A good (big) libary would have a
book like this.

>so, do the "Wokies" accept that fact or do they want to remove them? Or

No.

>is it only a problem when Trump has them?

When someone who has acted without regard to the law, who foments hatred
and violence to promote himself, when he keeps the book not merely in
his libary but by his bed, that's a big problem.

Maybe you could compare it to someone with money who spends money
bribing politicians, versus someone who spends it on charitable things.
Or someone with a gun who uses it to shoot people at a night club versus
one who shoots pheasant in the fields.

It's not the book and it's not the money or the gun. It's how the person
uses it. I hope that answers your question.

The Missoula Public Library must be worker; they do not have it. They do,
of course, have 'Capital' and 'The Communist Manifesto'.

Trump most likely thinks that Hitler was, like Putin and he himself, a
genius and that Marx and Engels weren't. Just a guess, Trumptard. LOL

Trump's ex-wife said he kept a copy of Mein Kampf by his bedside, so there's that.

Yeah, I'm sure that Trump cheating on Ivana, ridiculing her in public with
his affair with Marla Maples had no effect. The claim that Ivana said Trump
kept Hitler's book at his bedside wasn't made in 2016 or 2020, it was made
decades earlier. Trump was questioned about whether he had Hitler's book
and he did not deny it. He certainly learned effective techniques from someone.

Plus we have some insight into Trump and Nazis. John Kelly said that while in
Europe Trump said that Hitler did great things. And other of "Trump's
generals", that he bragged were the greatest, said he complained that he wanted
them to be like the German generals. We have him on video tape just days after
the death of that young woman at the hands of a white supremacists saying that
there were "very fine people" on both sides at the protests in Charlottesville. One
side was Nazis chanting anti-semitic slogans, white supremacists, the KKK, David
Duke. In who's world would "very fine" people ever be marching with that scum?

NO wife or ex-wife could ever be as devoted and loyal to Trump as you are,
lowbrowwoman! LOL

More reliable, perhaps, than trader_4's memory. It was a book of
Hitler's speeches entitled "My New Order".

What would really amaze me, though, is to learn that Trump had actually
read the book.

Has she said a lot of bad things about him?

That adds a little credibility to the wife. I've never heard of that
book and if she has, it's probably when she saw it on his nighttable.

I'm sure. I'm sure she has reason to do so, but I some people won't,
even if they have good reason, and some will tell bad stuff that is true
but woon't lie.

Speaking of credibility:

https://www.vanityfair.com/magazine/2015/07/donald-ivana-trump-divorce-prenup-marie-brenner

"Last April, perhaps in a surge of Czech nationalism, Ivana Trump told her lawyer Michael Kennedy that from time to time her husband reads a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, My New Order, which he keeps in a cabinet by his bed. Kennedy now guards a copy of My New Order in a closet at his office, as if it were a grenade. Hitler’s speeches, from his earliest days up through the Phony War of 1939, reveal his extraordinary ability as a master propagandist.

“Did your cousin John give you the Hitler speeches?” I asked Trump.

Trump hesitated. “Who told you that?”

“I don’t remember,” I said.

“Actually, it was my friend Marty Davis from Paramount who gave me a copy of Mein Kampf, and he’s a Jew.” (“I did give him a book about Hitler,” Marty Davis said. “But it was My New Order, Hitler’s speeches, not Mein Kampf. I thought he would find it interesting. I am his friend, but I’m not Jewish.”)

Later, Trump returned to this subject. “If I had these speeches, and I am not saying that I do, I would never read them.”

Is Ivana trying to convince her friends and lawyer that Trump is a crypto-Nazi? Trump is no reader or history buff. Perhaps his possession of Hitler’s speeches merely indicates an interest in Hitler’s genius at propaganda. The Führer often described his defeats at Stalingrad and in North Africa as great victories. "

I think every derogatory article written about President Trump is an MSM lie.

There is probably a lot to learn from that book. If one looks as to
where and what Hitler was and how he rose to power. He came from nothing
to dictator of a large country.

As Ralph pointed out, there isn't anything necessarily wrong with reading Hitler's writings.
The interesting angle with this was that Ivana claimed he kept them by his bedside which
suggests more permanence that just reading them once. And the evidence that Trump
won't read much of anything is quite abundant, so this must have been very special. The
problem is that words associated with Hitler and white supremacists should never be coming
from a presidential candidate in an interview.

Perhaps he thought the information in the book would enter his brain
via some sort of osmosis.

Kennedy now guards a copy of My New Order in a closet at his office, as if it were a grenade. Hitler’s speeches, from his earliest days up through the Phony War of 1939, reveal his extraordinary ability as a master propagandist.

Speaking of Trump, did you see that according to Jack Smith's filings, two dozen
witnesses they interviewed with regard to the Jan 6 case exerted attorney client
privilege? Boy, Trump sure had a lot of lawyers involved. Smith wants an answer
from Trump as to whether he's going to use as part of his defense that his lawyers
told him what he was doing was OK and legal. If that's going to be the defense,
then privilege will have to go out the window, the court will need to hear what those
lawyers actually told him. And that will be one of the most interesting things to hear.
Among those lawyers there must be plenty that are ethical and honest and are not
going to lie to take the blame and save Trump. Some, like say Rudy, if called, will probably
just take the fifth.
