The hen is one of the few who post to alt.english.usage. If you go to
alt.usage.english you'll find plenty of others. As far as I know
HenHanna is one person, which is more than enough.

I think it is one person, but there is otherwise very little activity
in the group.

For a long time I thought that the hen was a she (a hen is a female
bird, and Hannah is a name sometimes given to girls). However, that
appears to be wrong, as more recently we were told that Hen was short
for Henry.

I see the hate he unwillingly invokes in some as a form of
discrimination, or ignorance at best. Perhaps if you think more, and

I myself am on the autistic spectrum, so I can see a case for
toleration. Nevertheless, he is annoying. Athel has listed some of the
reasons.

Most of HenHanna's posts seem to be their own question or remarks
mixed up with quotes of text found somewhere on the web, or maybe
chatbot answers, and there is no clear delineation which is which.
I originally thought it might be an artifact of the Google Groups
interface they were using, but clearly not, so I think I'll just
ignore their posts.

Writing as a newcomer to aue: I find ill-disciplined posting styles
irritating. When one's readership has only the form and content of
one's posts to judge one by, it seems to me to be a good thing to
observe the norms.

In my opinion: posting ill-formed articles is like playing televised
snooker with dirty fingernails. Some might think my attitude shows
something akin to OCD...

Fortunately one is not obliged to read irritating articles.
