Although a Georgia grand jury indicted former President Donald Trump on Monday for challenging the 2020 election result, Democrats have refused
to accept the results of elections they lost for decades.

As Breitbart News reported, more than 150 examples show Democrats denying election results, including President Joe Biden; two-time failed
presidential candidate Hillary Clinton; House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY); Reps. Barbara Lee (D-CA), Maxine Waters (D-CA), and Sheila
Jackson Lee (D-TX); and failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams.

This is the new pathetic spin. Sure, others have challenged election results before.
It happens in close elections. The most famous was Florida in 2000. There was a
legitimate issue, the faulty voting system that resulted in hanging chads. Both sides
agreed that this problem existed, there was disagreement over how those ballots
should be vetted, what standards should be used to determine if the person had voted
for a candidate. So it went through various courts, all the way to the SC. Once the courts
were done ruling, Al Gore accepted the results, he provided for a normal transition and
he attended the inauguration.

Trump brought over 60 court cases, including to the SC, lost or withdrew all but one. The one
case he won was over what date ballots had to be received by in order to be counted, it had no
effect on the results. Did Trump accept that? No, he engaged in a campaign of whopping lies
and as each lie was checked out and his own people, Republicans, his campaign staff,
campaign lawyers, Republican governors and election officials told him that what he was claiming
was false, that he lost,
he just kept going, repeating the same lies. They organized people to go intimidate
election workers, they tried to get elected officials to commit illegal acts, they lied to
Republicans to get them to conduct fake elector meetings, to act as fake electors.
They assembled those fake elector certificates and Trump pressured Pence to act using
them to ignore the law and make Trump the winner. When Pence wouldn't do that, Trump
pressured him to just reject the votes of the American people and reject the legitimate
electors from the states Trump lost, to send them back to the states. The states had told
Trump a hundred times, it's over, we're done, these are our legal electors. That's the
difference between what Trump did and what anyone previously had done with their
election challenges and it's huge.
