I think what you're doing is called blaming the Victim. I was served with a summons this morning for some God-forsaken fucking thing I can't even read cuz I can't even see it or read it worth a shit which I screamed at the fucking process server as he walked away and asked him for a cigarette and job like he's got.

I would never have stuck around this long had there not been a purpose. Besides, I swore allegiance to the people I work for, and they don't like people quitting on them. I do not accept the mission. I have done some great work for the organization and they know it, but this is one mission I will not take on.

Mission Impossible is on MeTv every Sunday night at 2 or 3 am. I rarely watch it. I don't mind the opening with Mr. Phelps with the tape that self destructs in five seconds. Other than that the stories bore me - foreign intrigue, forays into distant countries, Kingdoms and so forth. For me it's like "Who gives a shit?" Plus it's an hour. Too long. But it's on. I'm a MeTv guy all the way.

I think you've got opinions here that are not based on fact. Truth is, the Negro got plenty of speaking parts in the show. Now, the Negro in Hogan's Heroes, another show that bored me although I think some of the characters were well done - that Negro did not get many speaking parts and I recently read an article in which he complained about it, now, after accepting the role and taking what he could get out of it. Not only did the Mission Impossible Negro get plenty of time to speak on the show, I saw him in quite a few other things from that time period. Only so many Negroes had starring or high profile supporting roles at that time - the complete reverse of now.. I'll bet competition between Negro actors of that time was severe. Sure on the surface they supported each other with insane comments such as, "Sidney opened the door for us", as if had Sydney Portier not existed the door would have stayed closed forever. Lots of Negroes at that time would have loved to take the role the Hogan's Heroes Negro is now complaining about. Did the Hogan's Hero Negro take the job thinking he was going to get star billing and the bulk of the speaking assignments? Of course not. He knew the setup and he went for it. Now after making enough money to live at least comfortably (if he's still alive - Ivan Dixon is his name), now after taking the cash his next big role is on talk shows talking about how he was overlooked in favor of less talented Whites (and Jews).

Why of all the actors on the show do you mention Nimoy's name? I could guess, but I won't. Nimoy got his fame from Star Trek. He deserved it. But I never saw him do anything special at any time in any production of any kind. Same with the other guy, Martin Landau - he was not bad but not outstanding in anything except for fitting nicely into the Bela Lugosi role in Ed Wood. I love tossing these guys names around. I know them all. I don't follow them. I just have a great memory for names, especially of people more famous than me. Bastards.

His large Spock ears distracted the viewer's attention away from other even more outlandish and ugly features on Nimoy's real face and body. I saw him in other things too, and you're right, he was pretty much nothing. But I don't hate the guy. As I told Bozo earlier - I hate no one. But it doesn't matter because hate is over rated anyway. If I feel like killing someone or tearing their face apart I don't have to hate them to do it. I always get Nimoy and Landau confused, or used to. I know why of course. Because they're kind of closely related, from the same tribe.

I can't answer your question as I have spent the better part of my adult life trying to erase the memory of the vision of both men from my brain, and now you ask me to compare them? Give me a break. Believe me, I'm good at telling races and nationalities. Not perfect but good. Also good with accents, telling where people are from. Sometimes I'm way off and I enjoy such big rare mistakes. I drove a cab for 33 years and I picked up everybody - I didn't play pick and choose, couldn't afford to, I was at the mercy of the dispatchers. Under pressure for the money I'll bet you won't be as good as you think you are when the people running the game bring in real African looking Negroes who were born in the US, and the reverse, real American Negroes who were born and raised in Africa. Under the pressure you may not be as good as you think at ethnic IDing. Same goes for me. But not as much as you because after all I am one of the best profilers in the world.

I'm not judging them at all. I am reading them the same way you or any self respecting asshole would hope your apartment manager would profile people before renting to them. If you managed an apartment building, one you lived in, would you rent to just any asshole off the street? I would hope not.. You'd check them out. You would pre judge them, as you should. I am the same. I do not prejudge people as much as profile them on past experience, in most cases not just one experience but a variety of them. For instance, after living as the only non hispanic in a loud apartment building full of Mexicans and their screaming children, when I finally left and had to go looking for another place to stay I would go into the lobby where the mailboxes were kept and I'd look to see how many hispanic names there were.
