The Americans are fleeing from Afghanistan, with their tails between their legs. They are doing it in the silence and darkness of the night, when those whom they are supposed to defend are sound asleep. What a disgrace! How despicable!

This is another valuable lesson for those who believe they can rely on Americans to defend and protect them.

US President said the US is not in Afghanistan to “nation-build”. That goes without him having to say it. The Americans have been all over the world, not to nation-build, but to nation-destroy. It has happened to ex-Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya and Syria. In the past 20 years, Afghanistan has been war-torn since the US invasion. While people in many parts of the world have enjoyed peace, prosperity and progress, the Afghans have only experienced deaths and destruction.

The current Afghan regime knows it is a puppet of the US and it has been able to hold-off the Taliban only because of Americans support. Once the Americans are gone, so too would the confidence, morale and fighting spirit of the regime and it would collapse.

The US and its allies are watching the situation and analysing its possible outcomes. As usual, they are doing it with reference to China. How will China benefit from the situation, how to prevent that from happening or, more evilly, how to use the situation against China. The recent statement from the Taliban leadership referring to China as a “friend” is a godsend to them. They, especially the Indians, are using it to demonise China as a potential threat to South- and Central-Asia.

China has little to worry about the Taliban. Being viewed as US enemy, China has been kept out of the affairs of Afghanistan. This is turning out to be a blessing for China.

Among US and its allies, it’s India which has the most to worry about the Taliban. The Indians know what they have done in Afghanistan. Like a good American dog, the Indians have carried out overt and covert operations against the Taliban. Together with the Americans, they have kept Afghanistan away from China. When Ex-President Karzai visited China and and declared that he welcomed Chinese investments, the Americans and Indians thought he was getting too cosy with China. They had him removed. Indian investments replaced Chinese’s. Under a new President, Afghan development projects were offered to Indians just like bones being thrown to an obedient dog.

After realising that keeping China out of Afghanistan also means keeping China out of trouble, the US and India are trying hard to get the Taliban to create trouble for China. They are luring the Taliban to get involve with the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, China. No matter how hard they try, the Taliban will not fall for it.

The Taliban and Pakistan are fellow Muslim allies and the latter is an iron-clad ally of China. The Taliban would not allow themselves to be used to antagonise China. They are more concerned about the conflicts between Pakistan and India over Jammu-Kashmir(J-K). They feel no less than the Pakistanis for their fellow Muslims in J-K who have suffered under Indian oppression for decades now. They are as angry as the Pakistanis are by the recent Indian annexation of J-K into the Union of India. To the Taliban, kicking out the Indians from J-K would be similar to kicking out those Indian dogs and their American master from Afghanistan.

India senses the dangers it will face if the Taliban were to regain power in Afghanistan. Before this becomes reality, Indian strategists can perceive both opportunity and risk in the current crisis in Afghanistan.

If it can assist the American-abandoned regime to fight off the Taliban, the gains for India would enormous.

1. It’s presence in Afghanistan would be like a knife at the back of its arch-rival Pakistan. The J-K conflict would be resolved in its favor.

2. It would assist in Indian expansionism, expanding India’s might further into Central Asia.

3. India would be accepted as the undisputed power of South Asia, easing their way to be a regional hegemon.

The risks would be great too.

1. Can India succeed where the British Empire, the Soviet Union and the American Empire have all failed?

2. The failure will come with a heavy price. It will have Afghanistan as a new enemy. It may lose its share of J-K and weaken its defense against the Chinese. Its status in South Asia will be much diminished.

3. Will the Indians be able to stay the course or will they end up like the Americans, fleeing with their tails between their legs, or worse, fleeing naked, in the darkness of the night?

The Indians are making the preparatory moves for intervention. They are claiming that the Afghan regime has approached them for help.
They are also trying to rope in the Russians as partner.

The ultimate question is this: Will the Indians have the guts to take the risk?

It will be most entertaining to watch Chingchongs being blown to smithereens

Hopefully the Chingchongs will nuke Kabul before we do...

It could be the work of Indian terrorists ally in Pakistan. Before this, the Taliban had destroyed Indian-built dams in Afghanistan.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IEpdY81snw

To balance the score, the Indians decided to do the same to Chinese projects in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Byker,

Enjoy this song, dedicated to those Americans who flee from the Taliban in the silence and darkness of the night.

Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because the Taliban is creeping in
Have to leave before they come in
And the vision of my tail between my legs
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

And in the naked light, I saw
Ten thousand Taliban, maybe more
Taliban talking without speaking
Taliban hearing without listening
Taliban writing songs that I couldn't sing
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

Afghan will be China's big test on whether can level up as a superpower and a Chinese version of internationalism.
To be sure, each country and culture is unique. And no country could really follow China's path of development. But
then for the world to be truly multilateral, China needs to provide its version or vision of internationalism.

For China, Afghanistan is a regional rather than global issue.

Having the Americans in Afghanistan is too close for comfort for the Chinese. What's more when the Americans and the Indians are working closely together there. With the Americans gone, so will the Indians, unless they are dumb enough to remain there. Its two problems solved in one go.

The Indians are preparing for threats from a Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. It is now more willing to talk peace with the Chinese on border issues.

Here's an interesting article.
https://www.thedailybeast.com/heres-why-china-could-be-sucked-into-the-graveyard-of-empires

It will not happen.

How China can work with a Taliban-ruled Afghanistan.
1. Taliban don't stir up trouble among the Uighurs in Xinjiang.
2. China will help the Taliban to develop Afghanistan.

Have the Taliban helped the East Turkestan Independent Movement? Quite unlikely. The Taliban have to fight the American invaders within their own country. It would be silly of them to offend China. China is US enemy. Your enemy's enemy is your friend. It is more likely that the Uighurs creating troubles in China were first trained by the Americans in bases within Afghanistan.

Is the Chinese military planning to enter Afghanistan?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_Uizq0eLAc

Most stupid of the Chinese to do that. The Chinese will be considered the new invaders. It will unite the US-abandoned government and the Taliban against the Chinese. The Americans and the Indians will be most happy to see the two Afghan sides united against the Chinese. They will supply arms and advisors to the Afghans to turn Afghanistan into China's Vietnam.

It's the Indians who would be more keen to send in their military. They have a big stake there. They have invested Three Billion Dollars in Afghanistan. They had sent in arms to support the US-abandoned government with their American-made transport planes under the pretext of fetching their diplomats back.

Actually, the Indians have created a Three Billion Dollars debt trap for the Afghans. These will be zeroed when the Taliban take over.

The situation demands that the Indians send in their military. But will they? They have no guts to do that. Indians only talk, never walk.

It WILL.

How China can work with a Taliban-ruled Afghanistan.

They WON'T.

1. Taliban don't stir up trouble among the Uighurs in Xinjiang.

YET.

2. China will help the Taliban to develop Afghanistan.

If anything, they'll help the Taliban to enforce Sharia law, and when one
the Taliban's myriad warring clans decides they don't want the Chinese --

The US involvement in Afghanistan is an extension of the 20th Century Christian-Judaeo-Islamic Conflict which started with the creation of the State of Israel by Western Christian nations.

On Sep 11, 2001, a group of Muslims from several Islamic nations carried out an attack on US soil. They hijacked four passenger planes, flew two into the Twin Towers in New York, bringing both buildings crashing down, crashed one into the Pentagon. The last one, on its way to Capitol Hill, crashed to the ground when passengers fought with the hijackers. Total deaths counted up to several thousands.

US Intelligence traced the attackers to al-Qaeda, a clandestine Islamic militant organisation operating in Afghanistan, which was then under the Taliban regime. The US demanded that the regime handed over the leaders of al-Qaeda. The Taliban refused.

There are more than one options to deal with the situation. But with its “might makes right” belief, the US opted for the use of brute force. It carried out an invasion of Afghanistan. This was done under its own law. There was no international consultation, no UN Resolution. It was carried out against UN Charter. There wasn’t any regards for the human rights of the Afghans or the civilian casualties it might cause. It’s a decision based on The Rules of the Barbarians, Law of the Jungle.

This was done under its own law. There was no international consultation, no UN Resolution. It was carried out against UN Charter. There wasn’t any regards for the human rights of the Afghans or the civilian casualties it might cause. It’s a decision based on The Rules of the Barbarians, Law of the Jungle.

Those Afghans who work for the Americans were hated worse, as traitors of their nation and apostates of Islam.

Much of it ended in the pockets of unscrupulous businessmen and corrupt officials. Progress were slow and the quality of work poor.

The military withdrawal from Afghanistan is not just a military setback for the US. It’s another failure of US global strategy which is based on brute force.

The American Way in US Global Strategy:
You want to be a pain in my arse? OK, you can forget about the rules-based world order. That’s only to fool others. I will play by my own rules. I will hammer you with my military might. There will be lots of deaths and destruction for you. The rest of the world watching will be awestruck. That’s what it meant to be.
Kick you out of power. Set up a puppet government. That completes a regime change.
Pour in the money to make things look good. Those easy money will give rise to rampant corruption. Those in power will enrich themselves to their fullest while vast majority of the population continue to mire in poverty.
You will be intoxicated by our values of democracy, freedom and human rights which will turn you into into undisciplined and immoral wild creatures.

For twenty years, that’s what happened in Afghanistan. But only a tiny fraction of the population have become converts. The majority remain unconvinced, preferring their Islamic way of life. Secretly, they yearn for the return of the Taliban.

Once the American announced their military withdrawal, the whole system began to crumble.

Another lesson for the Americans in how not to treat others in the world.
Another lesson for those who place their trust in the Americans.

And what would happen if America "disappeared."

Do you REALLY want the U.S. to become "isolationist" again?

The US should not isolate itself. But:
Don't go around the world like a Primitive Man carrying a big club and hitting out at anything or anyone in its way.
Don't gate-crash where you are not welcomed.

Its all over.
The Taliban has Kabul surrounded.
Ashraf Ghani has vacated his Presidency and left Afghanistan.
Government forces that are supposed to defend Kabul has given up the fight.
Taliban and whatever remains of the US-abandoned Afghan government negotiating for some form of Transitional Government.

The defeat of the Americans in Afghanistan will have profound effects globally.

1. Paradigm shift in US global strategy in jeopardy.

The US has decided on a paradigm shift in its global strategy, from Christian-Judaeo-Islamic Conflict to Big Powers Conflict. It is re-adjusting its might from fighting the Islamic world to preparing for conflict with China. The rest of the 21st Century will be the Century of Big Powers Conflict, mostly between US and China.

But this humiliating defeat in Afghanistan will have an impact on the paradigm shift. Afghanistan shows that the Americans cannot come and go in the Islamic World as and when it wishes. It will not be able to leave behind the nation it has invaded in a state it desired.

Afghanistan has shown that it will not be easy for the US to extract itself cleanly and completely from the conflict with the Islamic World. There’s still Iraq and other places to prove this further. Any withdrawal, voluntary or otherwise, will be perceived by the Islamist as a defeat for the Americans and a victory for themselves. Afghanistan offers an inkling that the planned paradigm shift will be a long and arduous process.

2. Resurgence of Islamic power.

So far, in the Christian-Judaeo-Islamic Conflict, its been defeat after defeat for the Islamist – Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Syria. The last attempted rejuvenation of a Caliphate in Iraq by ISIS was brutally crushed.

This latest defeat of the Americans in Afghanistan will be a turning point. Islamist will look upon it as the defeat of the Christian Crusaders by a Caliphate. It’s that long sought-after victory for Islamist all over the world. Muslims throughout the world will feel vindicated in their fight against the Christian West. The whole Islamic world will be lifted to a higher moral ground. It will be their new inspiration and hope to fight on.. There will be a resurgence of Islamic militancy worldwide. New Caliphates, new Islamic power centers will arise in the Islamic world.

3. Americans be damned.

It’s a huge loss to American credibility. Look how badly the Americans had performed in Afghanistan.

One Presidency carried out the invasion to topple a Caliphate, another initiated a withdrawal, yet another hasten the return of the Caliphate. It’s all for nothing, it’s a much ado about nothing! It’s sheer stupidity! It’s a global disgrace!

It’s about time the Americans stop believing in the superiority of their system and values and forcing them down on others. Stop swaggering around the world with their loud mouth, as if they are some goddamn superior beings. In reality, they can’t get things right within and outside their own country. They create troubles everywhere they go and make the world a worse place to live in.

If America really fought "Islamic world" then it would fight Saudis,
other Persian Gulf monarchies. But they are comfortable with America
and vice versa. Islamic Turkey within NATO is another example.

....

The narrative of clash between "Christian-Judaeo" and "Islamic" was
promoted mainly within the American right-wing pro-Israel activism.
It makes sense among those whose mind was americanized and attached
to the American discourse, but it makes little sense outside of it.
And "Christian-Judaeo" is itself such a specifically American fetish.

Stop swaggering around the world with their loud mouth, as if they are some goddamn superior beings. In reality, they can’t get things right within and outside their own country. They create troubles everywhere they go and make the world a worse place to live in.

In UN, the US and it allies preached incessantly to the Taliban about allowing safe departures for those who want to leave, protection of human lives and properties and the usual mantra about freedom and human rights.

In Afghanistan, the Kabul airport was flooded with people who wanted to catch a plane out. They spilled onto runway. US soldiers shot and killed Afghans to clear the runway.
The were Afghans who wanted to board a US transport plane. They clang desperately on to the exterior of the plane. The plane took off anyway and the Afghans fell off the plane from a great height, killing them instantly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XoV5gV2gUU

Where’s the safe departure for them, where’s the protection of human lives?

Few Western media carry this news. Instead many of them carry the news of a US transport plane ferrying over 600 Afghans to safety.

The puppet regime they installed has been toppled. A new Taliban regime is in place. Yet the Americans continue to behave like invaders, sending in planes and troops with impunity and warning the Taliban of “shift and strong military response” if the troops were attacked.

The Americans should seek approval from the new regime before they send in their troops or to have the troops on Afghans’ soil. They should work with the new regime to ensure a smooth evacuation operation. This is how a rule-based world operates. Instead, the Americans behave in their usual “might makes right” way.

They have yet to learn their lesson from their defeat in Afghanistan.

Stop swaggering around the world with their loud mouth, as if they are some goddamn superior beings. In reality, they can’t get things right within and outside their own country. They create troubles everywhere they go and make the world a worse place to live in.

The Americans are idiots. They want to show-off to the world that they are the good guys while the Taliban are the bad ones. Through the UN, they warn the Taliban to allow safe passage for all those who want to leave Afghanistan.

Well, the Taliban do just that. The result? A mad rush for the airport. Afghans, Americans and other foreigners and those who have worked for them, face great difficulties in reaching the airport, let alone take a flight out of the country. In the airport itself, there are mad stampedes to board planes. People clang on to the exterior of planes even when it is taking off, more are trampled to death. Its total chaos.

This is the result of American stupidities. They should know that they need the Taliban to maintain law and order before evacuation can proceed in an orderly manner. They should prioritise the people to be evacuated, no just anyone who wish to leave.

Americans cannot hang on to Kabul Airport for as long as they wish. Reasons being:

1. They are invaders holding on to a part of the sovereign territory of a nation. This may be OK under the old regime. A new Taliban regime will not allow this.

2. The presence of American forces gives hope to resistance against the Taliban regime.

As for the Afghans who have worked for foreigners, their fate should be decided by the new regime. Foreigners have no right to tell the Taliban what to do about them. They cannot be allowed to leave Afghanistan freely. For those who want to stay, their past misdeeds under their foreign masters can be forgiven. For those who want to flee, they should first be held accountable for the damages they have done to their country and the sufferings they have brought to their own people over the past 20 years when they worked for the invaders.
Another concern should be what will happen to them after they leave the country. They could be trained to return to sabotage the Taliban regime and terrorise the people of Afghanistan.

This is one very damning criticism of Joe Biden's Afghanistan fiasco.

The invaders are finally gone. The Taliban are celebrating.

What’s next for Afghanistan?

First the Taliban will have to clean up any remaining pocket of resistance and extremists groups.

Next, form the government and get down to the business of governance.

The Taliban is a religious force, Islamic, to be precise. It’s not surprising that they attribute their recent easy victory to their Allah.

Afghanistan under the Taliban will be an Islamic nation politically, economically and socially. It will be governed in accordance with Islamic laws. There will be no Western-style democracy, no liberal Western social values. The country would be more Islamic than it was under the American-backed government but less Islamic than it was during the Taliban’s first reign. This time, the Taliban will not allow their country to be used as havens for Islamic extremists. They should have learned their lesson by now.

Though Afghanistan will not be a training ground for Jihadist, the Taliban regular army will go to the aid of Islamic nations when necessary. This is to be expected. It is just like US allies from different parts of the world coming to Afghanistan to fight alongside the Americans.

It is re-adjusting its might from fighting the Islamic world to preparing for conflict with China. The rest of the 21st Century will be the Century of Big Powers Conflict, mostly between US and China.

There’s still Iraq and other places to prove this further. Any withdrawal, voluntary or otherwise, will be perceived by the Islamist as a defeat for the Americans and a victory for themselves. Afghanistan offers an inkling that the planned paradigm shift will be a long and arduous process.

It’s that long sought-after victory for Islamist all over the world. Muslims throughout the world will feel vindicated in their fight against the Christian West. The whole Islamic world will be lifted to a higher moral ground. It will be their new inspiration and hope to fight on. There will be a resurgence of Islamic militancy worldwide. New Caliphates, new Islamic power centers will arise in the Islamic world.

> >
> >
> >

> >
> >
>
>
>
>
>
There will be no Western-style democracy, no liberal Western social values..
>

Afghans celebrate their victory with coffins for the US and its Western allies.

Some Americans are also celebrating the Taliban victory, but less openly. Is Byker one of them?
