That bike was almost 50 years old. A real gem. Then on the other hand it could have been ready to break down any day. Maybe having it stolen saved your life. You have no way of knowing. I did not read the whole thing, not even a part of it. I was more interested, as has many times been the case, of wondering if the picture I'm looking at is that of the murderer of the pharmacist. I love when I'm wrong, which is not often. Look at that guy's face - looks like a criminal right from the start. But what if just by chance that photo was of the murdered pharmacist? I think the same thing sometimes when I read about a cop getting killed and they show only one picture of only one participant with a menacing look and it turns out to be the cop. I love when that happens.

Seriously, all my speculations about what a thief thinks about when stealing a ratty old bike like mine or even a new one is proly pretty ridiculous because most of the people I've spoken to whether they're street people or not, homeless, pedestrians, merchants, or cops who won't even stop all seem to have one thing in common ~ not to be willing or able to process it at all — almost as if they're speechless — all of which prolly goes to explain why the stats on so-called petty crimes are going through the roof.

When it comes to bikes, as a kid and in my 20 I had a few that were stolen, but I also stole a few. In my 30s I got one at a garage sale - a real old fogey type bike that was too low to the ground, so I had to put the post up all the way. I put a basket on the front for shopping. That's where the lock and chain went when I was at the wheel. I locked it no matter where I parked it. Sometimes I might gamble on a real quick in and out. Come on Bozo, you know there are people out there who would steal your used underwear, so why suddenly the big shockeroo over having your bike stolen. Funny from Mr. Tafarian (armenian bastard), talking about a motorcycle when you were talking about a pedal bike. This tells me Mr. Tafarian is either a biker, a biker lover, or a guy who rarely uses his legs to get anywhere, which is why he is grounded to his computer chair. Anyway, I never pictured Newsgroup Bozo as having a motorcycle or even wanting one. Maybe I'm wrong. I agree with you that psychiatry is not only a fraud but an odd status symbol for some people. The more they pay the prouder they are. But they could be lying about how much they pay, quoting high numbers to bolster their preferred phony neurotic status. I was just testing you to see if you'd back off - and sure enough you did. And now I have to hear all this fairy tale nonsense about one for all and all for one. Bullshit. I am in this on my own. I can handle myself. I don't need a family. That's how people get hurt, looking for families. I am opposed to blind loyalty.
