ways of approach to it.

They used conventional war tactics against a guerilla war tactics.

Gorbachev became the president of USSR is the man who decided to end the
Soviet presence in Afghanistan.

Convention military uses "catch and release" from jail policies. But
paramilitary uses "trap and kill" policies.

Therefore, the paramilitary such as the Taliban and other factions would
often win, as they not only create fears, but also the fear of beheading .

Henceforth, to catch the paramilitary is to use the same "trap and kill"
tactics in response to them.

That is to say, make use a "thief to catch a thief" tactics.

There is no end to it. but there is no need for expensive weapons at all.
