China demands Pakistan to take effective
security measures after Gwadar blast

ISLAMABAD: Chinese Embassy in Islamabad has strongly condemned the yesterday’s
Gwadar blast and demanded all the Pakistani law enforcement agencies to take
steps for effective security.

In a statement issued by the embassy here on Saturday, a convoy of Chinese
staff working on Gwadar Expressway was targeted in a suicide attack in which
two children were killed and a Chinese among several others injured.

The Chinese Embassy strongly condemned the Gwadar suicide attack and offered
condolences to the bereaved Pakistani families.

The embassy urged the Pakistan government to probe in the incident and take
the culprits to the task. It also demanded provision of the best medical
facilities to those injured in the blast.
