Friend used ro have an African Grey - when I last saw him it was about
75 years old - back in '72. If you rang the doorbell he'd say
"nobody's home" then a perfect VW horn , and then the doorbell, and
again -
"Nobody's home" and sometimes the kids talking.

Neighbour had a parakeet called Joey. They were a young couple - newly
married - and Joey had the smooching down pat. He'd sit there
"Bettyand Jerry - Betty and Jerry - kiss kiss kiss" Theywent away for
a week and left Joey with us. He got out and was flying around the
house, "Betty and Jerry, Betty and Jerry - kiss kiss kiss" for about
10 minutes antill I said "Time for bed, Joey" and pointed to his cage.
Then he had a tantrum like a 2 year old "JOEY DOESN'T WANT TO GO TO
BED!!!! Squawk Squauk Squaawk Squaawk!!!! untill I cought him with my
hat and chucked him into his cage!!.
