We are all Americans. What difference does it make whether one is White, Hispanic, Black, Asian,...?

Besides high natural growth rate of Latinos, domestic and international immigration
also contribute to the decline of white population in Texas.

"Texas grew 1.29% from 2019 to 2020. Its current population is 29,360,759, a growth of 373,965 from 2019. This means that Texas's population grows by over 1,000 people per day. Texas has the fifth-highest birth rate in the U.S. of 13.2 births per 100,000 people. However, only 40% of its population growth is attributed to natural increases, while 60% is due to net migration.. Recently, international migration has exceeded domestic migration, with an increase in migration from Asian countries, especially China and India."

Given the current Sino-US relationship, Chinese immigration would decrease except those from Hong Kong. Indians would likely to maintain its trend as Texas will need STEM people for its economic growth. In addition, immigrants from south of the border have greatly increased recently.

Texas is gaining at the expense of California.
However, Merced gains 10% in a year because of UC-Merced. 3-4 blocks from me, 2 home builders are preparing 5 empty lots for new houses...
