The US top the table in the Olympics. Something for the Americans to be proud of? Not if It is known that the US also top the table in the pandemic.

Conclusion:
A few Americans are exceptionally fit while the vast majority are exceptionally unfit.

This is not just the US. It's the same for any society which values individualism and competition.

Wouldn't it be better that the resources used to develop a few super fit individuals be used to make the masses fitter?
