I look back at myself as a kid and realize I was probably a big asshole. When I say kid I'm talking about any time before age 30, sometimes even a bit after. In many ways I grew up early, in some ways I grew up late. In other ways I haven't grown up at all. Know what I mean, wise guy?

Munchkin land is looking pretty good to me. How much to buy a hut there? Also if the roads are made of gold what are the sidewalks made of?

Probably lots of dog shit. Nobody will let their dog take a crap on a
street of gold. I'm sure the cops in a place like that have 'shoot to
kill' orders if they see any dog doing it. If they catch one of the
other midgets doing it, they would have a public hanging. Do yourself a

If the streets of heaven were paved with gold they wouldn't be worth shit. Shows you where the minds of the bible writers were at. Their concept of heaven is always material. Streets of gold, milk and honey, wine instead of water.

Some of the stuff is really old fashioned materialism at it's best. Palaces, streets of gold, lands of milk and honey, turning water into wine. I don't care how addicted I might become to alcohol, I find it hard to believe anyone would prefer wine over water for every day drinking. As for contracts and so forth, today they make all the print fine. So fine, and so long, that I just sign it, as I'm sure most people do. I'm talking about hospital stuff with the Medicaid, not financial stuff. Anyway, the visuals of heaven - I guess no matter who presents them - are always going to be lacking - because they are not MY visuals - which is the way it has to be for all of us to attain pure heaven - either die for good, all the way, no coming back, no awareness of any kind - or become the manager of your own dreams for eternity. Not too overbearing though, not too much in control. Just enough drama to almost go into nightmares but not quite. You sign for the dream package - "You don't know what you're going to get, but most of the dreams are going to be good, and when you get the bad ones you're in always in control if things get too out of hand."

I am limited, like most. But so far my only visions of heaven are being dead all the way or going with dreams that are controllable, but not so much that they become boring.

You could have a point, a good point. I'm not talking about desperation and panic and fear, I'm talking about total confidence, that one day you just decide you're not going to die - who knows, maybe you will live forever.
