What about you, Ollie? You're a man of great untapped potential. Plus
I'm sure you know some young, undocumented, immigrant ladies from
Guatemala. This could be your calling. Snuff films no longer need to be
an underground enterprise. You, Ollie, can bring it mainstream and
perhaps bring home an Oscar.

Your post is funny, but only if delivered by someone who actually believes it. "I've often wondered", by itself is a funny line. As if you keep a log of all the things you wonder about and rank them in order of importance on the basis of how often you wonder about them.

I would not want to watch a real snuff film. I used to think I'd like to see or hear creepy violent things, but things have changed. I saw enough creepy violent shit driving the cab and sometimes just walking down the street. But I don't want stuff in my brain that I can't block out. Sure, for most people the temptation is there to hear someone being recorded while being tortured, and I understand it. But what if it's really horrible and you can't block it out? Like being a juror on a murder case involving torture and are asked to listen to a variety of tapes of different people being tortured to death by the defendant. Sounds like it could be fun, but truth is I might have to bow out at that point.

"Your Honor, I am not upset that she was being tape recorded while being tortured, I am upset that as a juror I am already suffering Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from being forced on your command to listen to it."

Yes, Ollie has the talent to bring it to the mainstream, at which point it becomes trash. I am sure the mainstream would go for such productions, especially today in the comfort of their own homes, keeping their fantasies on the hush hush. But Ollie would not commit to making such garbage. He is a genius. According to recent scientific surveys it has been concluded that real geniuses do not like snuff films and want nothing to do with them. Inside info says that Einstein enjoyed looking at still photos of people who had been snuffed, but would never submit to watching it play out. He was all about results. The big windup. He was a just the facts kind of guy. Like me.

Einstein was a good Jewish boy and would never indulge in such
activities as watching someone get snuffed. I'm different and there's
nothing that I wouldn't enjoy seeing than some Guatemalan girl have her
brains splattered all over the wall while she's being done anally. Of
course I do not want to see a still photo of her dead. I do have some
standards

I'll go with the still photos when it comes to stuff that could invade and occupy the brain at times when the brain's owner is not in the mood. A still is easier to forget. I have changed a lot over the years, most of it in the last two or three alone. Yesterday I was tied with someone in our weekly NFL football pool and the Monday Night game was the tie breaker. I chose not to watch it. Used to be I'd turn it early not wanting to miss the kickoff. I am using football games only as an example. So instead of watching the game on TV I came to this computer and put up some tabs - youtube music, email, and a football site that shows not only the score but who has the ball and what yard line it's on. It's brutal. A lot of time between new info. But I grew to like it in it's own way. Not saying I'm taking it over TV, only that sometimes I like the really slow approach as well as not knowing every last thing that's going on. For instance, as the game was winding down and I had a chance to beat the guy in the 4th quarter I saw that his team had the ball on the 50 yard line and it was 4th down and they needed 2 yards. That usually means a team is going to punt. "Good", my team will have a chance to score", I thought. Then about two minutes later - a long two minutes - the graph showed the other guy's team was now at my team's 37 yard line, which means they got the first down and were going to close the game out. I enjoyed not knowing how they got to the 37. Was it a penalty? A fake punt? Or did they just flat out go for it on 4th down? I enjoyed not knowing. Later I turned on the TV to see what really happened.. I enjoy not knowing stuff all the time and also enjoy finding out I'm wrong (as long as it doesn't I'm going to die right away). I like new technology, sometimes, and will use it for sure. But there is something really enjoyable about a slide show, especially with a good narrator, one who springs surprises on you. He can tour the country with the same projector and photos and present them differently every time. In some ways many older things are more advanced. Older things like me!

That was a fake web feed. I knew you were watching that instead of the real game. I fucked with you. You were fucked with .
