Drone clips showed how a string of tanks charged through
Ukrainian fields bearing down on Tonenke - until they
were met with a furious defence by Ukraine's 25th
Airborne Brigade 'Sicheslav'.

With the fields and the dirt track lined with mines,
the armoured column from the 90th tank division of
Russia's army was forced to slow, making them easy
targets for the paratroopers and their expert drone
pilots.

One by one the Russian tanks were blown to bits, with
drone-mounted cameras capturing how several erupted
into flames after being struck by the Ukrainian
munitions.

Some 20 tanks and armoured vehicles succumbed to the
furious airborne assault before Russian commanders
ordered a retreat.

The vid opens with a convoy of tanks, but they soon try
to scatter as they are badly hit. One by one they are
all destroyed, or at least badly damaged.

It appears that this was a combo ground/air attack on
the armored columns. Drones got some while elite
paratroopers tore into the survivors with shoulder-
launched rockets.

According to the report, this was the largest Russia
armored offensive in a very long time. Likely the
LAST one too .... the more assets in one location
the easier it is concentrate a counter-attack.

Russia was long feared over its large armored assets.
However since the beginning of this war, Ukraine has
shown how to destroy them in great quantities, even
with crude methods.

Note in the vid that all the Russian tanks now have
a metal-mesh "roof" welded on. This is supposed to
deter dive-bombing drones - Ukraine had great initial
success with this method. However they are STILL
largely exposed and drones don't HAVE to dive in
straight down .....
