The US, Germany and other countries are seeking answers after
an airstrike in Gaza killed seven foreign aid workers. Israeli
PM Netanyahu said the strike was 'unintentional.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog held a phone call with World
Central Kitchen (WCK) founder Jose Andres, and "expressed
deep sorrow and sincere apologies" over the "tragic loss"
of WCK staff in Gaza.

Seven WCK employees were killed by an Israeli airstrike
amid aid operations to Palestinians.

In a statement put out by the Office of the President of
Israel, Herzog reiterated "Israeli's commitment to ensuring
a thorough investigation of the tragedy."

I doubt they are THAT sorrowful ...

The "accident" angle seems a bit suspicious too since
the destroyed vehicles were NOT in a bunch, but spread
out over a few blocks. This means a drone blasted one,
then sought out the others and blasted each of them.

The orgs logo was large and prominent on the roofs and
sides of the vehicles and they had been given prior
Israeli permission to pursue their activities in Gaza.

Some of the dead were Brits - and the Israeli ambassador
in London was immediately summoned ...

However none of this seems to be impacting the arms
shipments from the USA and others to Israel - those
are considered to be of over-riding importance and
a few "incidents" will not get in the way.

In the end, some hyperactive teen-age IDF drone jockey
will get the blame and that will be that.

Yesterday, Israel attacked the Iranian "embassy" near
Damascus, killing several - including some Iranian
officials linked to providing arms/expertise to
Hamas and Hezbollah. Iran has sworn revenge - and,
not being wallflowers, WILL quickly find a way. This
may involve exploding an Israeli embassy somewhere,
a tit-4-tat.
