Thousands of Christians surrounded a church in Sydney's west after a
suspected Muslim extremist stabbed a popular bishop mid-sermon, vowing to
defend their religion.

A witness told journalists Chriscoveries at the scene the attacker
repeatedly said "Allahu Akbar".
