Here are the entries in WG 57, with my opinions. Following one common custom, the winner is revealed at the end.

From Kevin:

Sorry I missed it. Fair construction, amusing surface.

From Luciano:
Can Baptist evangelist trick any guy? (4) Luciano
JOHN: quintuple definition: Can (as in lavatory), Baptist, Evangelist, trick (as in patron of sex worker), and "any guy"

Nicely done; you don't see five definitions every day, and the surface works. Nice switch on "trick."

From Rob:

JAM: Double definition

Neat, clean, and delicious on toast.

Wreck a job by resorting to a load of made-up words (11)
JABBERWOCKY: Anagram ("by resorting") of WRECKAJOBBY, def. is "a load...words"

Nice anagram and smooth surface. I might pick a nit with the definition, but I get it.

These are four strong entries, but only one can wear the coveted WG 57 crown. And the winner is...Luciano, for five definitions in six words. Very nice!
