I just used E6000 too! I am taking your advice and make sure its 100% cured before using it. I had a big piece break off the back part that sits on top and hold the veggies bins. The whole thing was failing before I found it. I found the broken piece and glued it and the corners where cracks were forming because of failed broken piece. How that piece even broke, is the million dollar question, but regardless, I used E6000 on my handle on my oven when it came out of the hole it belonged in! LOL I must have a heavy hand, but that's been holding now for at least a year or more now. I am so glad for your post because I think E6000 is the best glue. Takes forever to bond I had to hold it all together, because no way to brace it otherwise, for at least 20 min before it was strong enough to hold itself. But, I am so tickles when I woke up this morning to see it was really holding. I am going to look and see if there are any ore little cracks I missed and put some glue on those as well. Thank you again for your post.

Just make sure you let the glue dry for a few days before you put it back in the refrigerator because the glue smell while it is drying will affect your food. I called the glue customer help line and they told me once it is dry, there should be no problem using the glue for a food bin. So just make sure it is dry before using it and putting it back in the refrigerator.
