6月16日，40多个国家驻华大使来到中共一大纪念馆，在此了解中国共产党的历史。期间，阿尔巴尼亚驻华大使贝洛尔塔亚讲了一段话，东欧的历史上也曾有共产党，但东欧的共产党没有一个像中国共产党这样取得巨大成就；其中的关键，正是把共产主义理论和中国特色相结合。这给每个人都上了一堂课，没有放之四海而皆准的模式；只有努力找到适合自己的发展道路，才能获得成功。中国故事恰恰最能说明这一点。
2020年以来，一场新冠疫情大流行，将西方民主制度的弊端放大在世人面前，也让人们重新开始思考：曾被奉为圭臬的西式民主真的就完美无缺吗？根植于儒家传统的东亚社会，又如何构建自己的民主制度？

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. How to interpret the success of the Communist Party of China and how to view the choice of China's developmental path is a grand proposition that the outside world has been exploring and questioning.
On June 16, ambassadors from more than 40 foreign embassies in China had visited the Memorial Hall of First National Congress of the Communist Party of China to further their understanding of CCP history. During the visit, Albanian ambassador to China Belortaya said that East Europe had a history communist party, but none of the communist parties in Eastern Europe has attained such great achievements like the Communist Party of China. The key to Chinese success: Combining communism with Chinese characteristics. This is a lesson for everyone. There is no one-size-fits-all model. One can only succeed through working hard in finding a suitable developmental path. The Chinese story illustrates this point superbly.
Since 2020, Covid19 pandemic has magnified the shortcomings of the Western democratic system to the world, and it has also made people to reconsider: Is Western-style democracy, once regarded as the gold standard, really perfect? How do East Asian societies rooted in Confucian traditions build their own democratic systems?
