Yes. It seems that way.

Many other states salivate for the extra daylight they'd receive at the end of the day, ignoring that, during the Winter, sunrise would come an hour later after their workforce has arrived at work and children are in school following a DARK commute while more morning agricultural activity would have to occur in darkness, if it could. In Washington state during much of January, the Sun would not rise until somewhere near 9:00 AM. But, we'd have the advantage of December and January sunsets after 5:00 PM instead of shortly after 4:00 PM.

But, it seems that most will not understand the problem until
they have spent a winter or two, with dark long mornings.

The relevant health problems go away if we set priorities for getting
a proper amount of sleep in natural circadian rhythms that adhere to
when the Sun rises and sets, not so much to what the clock indicates as
we cross from one season to the next.

Ahhh, I certainly agree with the
"we set priorities for getting a proper amount of sleep in
natural circadian rhythms"
But, in my opinion, and experience that can be unrelated to
"that adhere to when the Sun rises and sets,".

Many individuals have to work work duties that need
to be unusual shifts.
Many do well at it by having a discipline of getting
proper sleep that is totally unrelated to
sun cycles.

By the way, where I worked, most were on work shifts of
6AM to 2PM, 2PM to 10PM, and 10PM to 6AM,
5 eight hour shifts, then 2 days off,
for 6 months in a row.
If you dedicate yourself to proper sleep,
that works out fine. If you refuse to do so,
and fight sleep, it can really be tough on
a person's mind, soul, intelligence, personality,
and family and future.
