Indeed.

It's past time for the Chinese people to rise up and expel the CCP now
and forever.

Pray for freedom in China!

You are more than 30 years behind time. The Chinese have moved on since then. China has progressed beyond belief. The Chinese today are supportive of their government and proud of their nation.

Look how the Chinese express their pride and love for their China, right at TianAnMen.

Look how ordinary Chinese citizens love PLA soldiers. During a ceremony, it began to rain. Spectators spontaneously sheltered the soldiers with their umbrellas. A commander had to politely refuse their kindness.

It does fade away. It has no chance to be forgotten anytime soon.
Does not it show true base of CPC government?
CPC may be not eager to use it but it is ready to use it.

A small number may choose not to forget. But they cannot change the reality that
Jun 4th is a non-issue nowadays, not in China where it should be matter most. Even if
one assumes the student protest was a movement for democracy, China has been on the
way to true democracy per Chinese people's point of view. Chinese correspondent had
told pollster in no uncertainty term that China is a democracy.

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi also said "Democracy is not Coca-Cola that promises
the same taste everywhere in the world." In other words, China has its own kind of
democracy.

To the extent that Americans do not trust their media on what have been happening in the US.
No one should trust American media on what have been happening in China.

How UK PM Thatcher reduced unemployment?
She changed definition of unemployed persons.
PRC must be a proud follower of The Thatcher's Solutions :-)

There was a polish (communist era) "joke":
Q: What is the difference between a democracy and a communist democracy?
A: The difference is like between a chair and an electric chair

I am 200% sure PRC is the best communist democracy worldwide.

No democracy without trust. Democracy begins with people trusting their government.
Of the people, by the people, and from the people government and policy inevitably reinforce
the trust between the people and their government.

To the extent that American people do not trust their government, the US is not a real democracy.
In case you don't already know, America is at present facing mass extremism.. Telling jokes would
not change the reality.

There are so many more incidents to remember after Tiananmen. Just to name a few:
The demise of the Soviet Union.
The demise of Yugoslavia.
The cakewalk invasion of Iraq.
The downfall of the Gaddafi regime in Libya.
The on-going attempt at regime change in Syria.

The US-led West had a role in each of them. The deaths and destruction that they brought about is enormous.

If you insists: CPC failed miserably to stay in power by less bloody means.
You are "in big part right" (IMHO) but it does not change enough in case of
Tiananmen Square massacre.

Egypt soldiers are loved more, aren't they? I do not love PRC but US
has supported, supports and will support even more bloody *friendly*
regimes. CPC is not a bunch of *US* sons of a bitch.

Microsoft still plans to make Billions And Billions
off of China. They will disappear anything that
might even indirectly annoy Xi. Capitalist motives
have their plusses and minuses. This is one of
the minuses.

Hey, Tiananmen is all the west, especially the US, have. Don't disappointment them. According to ex-UK MP George Galloway, the Iraqi WMD invasion on false pretense and its aftermath have killed a million people. The war criminals have been excused by the US Congress (faulty intelligence goes the national bullshit) and are walking free. So, please, understand that the west have to go back this far to find something against China.

I used to side with the west unthinkingly over Tiananmen. But after the CIA insurrection in Hong Kong, I look at Tiananmen in a new light.
