The WHO must investigate the biowarfare lab at Fort Detrick, USA, which had a history of leaks and which was finally closed just before the US delegation went to Wuhan for the World Military Games in October 2019, just before the recorded outbreak of covid19.

In the beginning of the year, some have predicted that China, like last year, will figure prominently in the picture of the pandemic. It will not be because of its success in controlling the pandemic, but because the US-led West would try relentlessly to nail it down as the cause of the pandemic.

The pandemic has brought China more gains than losses and upgraded its status in the world.
Anti-China politics in Hong Kong have effectively been brought to an end.
Chinese is now standing tallest and strongest among the nations afflicted by the pandemic. Its economy is the best performing one in the world. It is now predicted that the pandemic will shorten the time for China to overtake the US economy as the world’s No.1 to 2028.
China is the savior to many countries afflicted by the pandemic. It is the supplier of choice for many medical supplies required to combat the pandemic, from protective gears to oxygen concentrators to vaccines.

The WHO has been to China to carry out its investigation and produced a report which exonerated China from the cause of the pandemic. Any further investigations should be held in other countries especially those top three in infections and/or death, namely, US India and Brazil.

A new wave of the pandemic has occurred. It originates in India, a US strategic ally, through a new variant of the virus. It is spreading worldwide. There is hardly any criticism of India from the US, let alone call to investigate how the virus originates and how it spreads. The bias is so obvious..

This new wave of the pandemic exposes all the weaknesses of India as a nation.
Breakdown of public health system. Breakdown of system dealing with life and death.
Many Indians die while waiting for treatment or due to lack of treatment. Their corpses cannot be be properly disposed off in time. These were buried in shallow graves on river banks or directly dumped into rivers to become floating corpses.
It will get worse before it can get better. The pandemic has now spread to the rural areas where public health system is almost non-existent.
To make matters worse, Hindu holy healers are suggesting repugnant treatment worse than those of Trump - coat bodies with cow dung, drink cow pee together with cow dung.

The pandemic has turned US strategy against China upside down. India is not working out as the US strategic counterbalance against China. Instead, India makes the US looks like a damn fool in its choice of a strategic partner..

All in all, the COVID-19 has turned out to be a big blessing in disguise for China. The US-led West cannot accept this. China cannot be allowed to have it so good in the pandemic. Now it is raising doubt about China and the pandemic, again: is it serendipity or sabotage? The US-led West would like to believe that it has been sabotaged by China with the virus of COVID-19.

Thus a renewed surge in its effort to nail down China as the cause of the pandemic. How stupid! Instead of going after China, the US should waste no effort to pressure the Indians to contain the spread of the Indian wave. Indians, rich or poor, are sneaking out of India. The US is one of their favorite destinations. The world is watching and waiting for the US to be swept up by another wave due to the Indian variant of virus.
